Speech and Language Therapy – Department of Speech and Language Therapy
For children and adults with a speech, language, communication, voice or swallowing difficulty. Families and professionals can call and speak to a qualified therapist.

Social Care (Self-Directed Support) (Scotland) Act 2013
This provides for the provision of social care to people (adults and children) with eligible needs by means of Options 1 - 4, including Option 1, A Direct Payment. For adults, request a community care assessment from Moray Council: http://www.moray.gov.uk/moray_standard/page_79483.html. For children, request an assessment of needs (section 23 of Children’s Act 1995) from Moray Council.
CHiP+ Children in the Highlands Information Point
CHIP (Children in the Highlands Information Point) offers information, support and advice to the families and carers of children and young people with additional support needs, and to professionals who work with them. Based in Inverness, CHIP offers a service throughout Highland region, however it can be accessed by families in Moray and there are lots of useful resources on the website.
