The Moray SONAS Wellbeing Services
Delivered by Action for Children, an exciting, innovative service for children, young people and families in Moray. Aiming to provide a range of interventions and supports that are targeted to improve mental health and wellbeing of children, young people and families
They use accredited evidence based programmes alongside family support providing for a diverse range of needs. Working to make sure every child and young person has the love, support and opportunity they need to reach their full potential.

Moray Wellbeing Hub
The Moray Wellbeing Hub offers all ages to join our social movement and become a mental health Champion who can use their experiences of mental health challenges to raise awareness and reduce stigma.
The Moray Wellbeing Hub also has a Wellness College with courses to improve wellbeing such as Living Life to the Full.

The Exchange
The Exchange are commissioned by The Moray Council to provide a school counselling service to all secondary school pupils and primary pupils aged 10 and over. The Exchange offer a psychological wellbeing service dedicated to supporting children, young people and their families. The service works collaboratively with pupils, schools and families to provide age-appropriate interventions which are sensitive, respectful and confidential, with a view to supporting the young person to manage their present issues and develop resilience for coping with similar issues in later life.
Support is offered to meet the varying needs of children and young people which may include individual sessions, groupwork, workshops, theraplay and resilience based programmes. . Sessions are predominantly carried out within the school building but alternative arrangements can be made when needed.
The Exchange can provide support for a wide variety of difficulties including but not limited to: * Stress/anxiety * Low mood * Bereavement * Bullying * Transition to a new school/home * Difficulties in school/exam stress * Self-harm * Concerns about sexuality * Emotional difficulties
